Winter Crisis
Program
(Emergency HEAP)
Begins November 1 and ends March 31 each year
provides
assistance, once per heating season, up to $250.00
to income eligible households that:

Summer
Cooling Program
Begins June 1 and ends
August 31 each year
The program will assist eligible households, with
the following:
Income
eligible senior citizen households, 60 or older, may receive
assistance of up to $175 for their electric utility:
- Seniors do not need a disconnect notice or need to
be placed on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan in order to
qualify.
- Seniors may also receive an air conditioner if they
provide a physician’s statement verifying they have a respiratory
illness. Air Conditioners are available to those who have not
received one through the Summer Cooling Program within the past
three years.
